Time and Location
Class will be held at 5300 Stevens Creek Boulevard in San Jose, located where Highway 280 crosses Lawrence Expressway. (It's the six-story black glass building.)
From San Jose Airport: Take 880 South for two miles, then 280 North (toward San Francisco) for two miles. Exit at Lawrence Expressway, turn left at the first light (onto Stevens Creek Boulevard), then an immediate left into the parking lot.
From San Francisco Airport: Take 101 South for approximately 25 miles, then 85 South for approximately four miles. Take 280 South (toward San Jose) for three miles and exit at Lawrence Expressway. Turn left at the first light (onto Stevens Creek Boulevard), then an immediate right into the parking lot.
We will be in Room 207.
There will be refreshments at 8:15 AM and class will
start at 8:30 AM.
WD201 (5-day Class) Attendees: What to bring
Any or all of the following:
- Photographs related to you, your family, your hobbies and/or your work. There is a color scanner in the classroom.
- Graphic images you'd like to use in your Web pages (hard-copy or any graphic file format on DOS-formatted diskette).
Each student will receive a copy of Laura Lemay's newest book
"Teach Yourself
Web Publishing with HTML and XHTML in 21 Days". We won't
be following the book
chapter by chapter, but it will serve as an excellent reference source.
There will be other reference material available in the classroom.
You'll also receive a good book on Web design.
Please dress comfortably. This will be a very informal week.
